Bill Rose is the national director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group (NRG) and Net Leased Properties Group (NLPG). In this capacity, Mr. Rose leads a service line with more than 300 investment sale professionals operating from 70 offices nation-wide. In 2010, the firm arranged 1,445 retail transactions valued in excess of $3.7 billion. Mr. Rose joined the San Diego office as an investment professional in 2003, working with retail investments. In 2009, Mr. Rose was promoted to sales manager. In 2010, he became the NRG Western regional director and was elected to national director in 2011. Mr. Rose has a varied and extensive background in the retail industry including his role as managing director at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, where he was involved with debt origination, structured finance and investment sales. He also spent 13 years at TrizecHahn as director of development leasing.

Additionally, Mr. Rose serves as the International Council of Shopping Center’s western division operations chair and is a member of Urban Land Institute and the California Mortgage Banking Association. Mr. Rose received a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in real estate and finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
